Wallace's Christmas Campaign

With the holiday season upon us my thoughts turn to those who have lost a loved one in the past year.  I am aware of the difficulties that you may face during this season. It is my hope that you will find strength in the love and understanding of family and friends.

As those around you prepare to celebrate the season, you may find yourself merely going through the motions, wondering how you will endure these next few weeks and wishing they were behind you.  These feelings are a normal and natural reaction to the changes in your life following a loss.  

Our annual “Candle Light Service” will be held at Wallace Funeral Home, Sussex, WITH TIME AND DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.  During the holiday season, you will want to stop and remember the people in your life who have passed away. Remember a smile, the sound of laughter, favorite things you enjoyed doing or meaningful times you shared.  Together, we can light a powerful tribute to those we love by lighting a candle in their honor. It is a visual testimony for all of us. Each candle will remind us of someone special in our lives.

 You, your friends and family are invited to make a donation of $5.00 per candle in your loved ones memory which will be donated to the People’s Serenity Garden.

Personalized Crystal Angel Ornaments are also available for $10.00, as part of our “Angels Among Us” Campaign. You can place the Angel with your loved ones name on it on our tree or yours.

We would also like to invite you to join with Lorraine Pollock our Community Care Coordinator for our After Care Program on “Celebrating around the Empty Chair” to be held at Wallace Funeral Home, With Date To Be announced.
