Manford Robinson

 

Manford Leroy Robinson was born in Sussex on April 12, 1936 ; he was the son of the late Maurice and Margaret Jane (Benson) Robinson.  

 

Manford was a heavy equipment operator and was retired from Delmar Construction in Hamilton, Ontario. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing the guitar and going for drives.  

 

Manford is survived by eight daughters: Karen Moore and her husband Kevin, Francine Whitman and her husband Mel, Christine Robinson and Wayne, Cindy WIlson and her husband Chris, Joanne Charlebois and her husband Martin and Darlene Robinson all of Hamilton, Ontario, Patricia "Patty" Whelan and her husband Rick of Surrey, BC, Heather Pasquini and her husband Joe of Stoney Creek; his son: Dennis Robinson and his wife Lisa of Hamilton, Ontario; 17 grandchildren: David, Stephanie, Troy, Chad, Amy, Peter, Kate, Scott, Cheyanne, Brock, Jake, Logan, Sophia, Sara, Ashley, Kristen and Luca; his brother, Stephen and his wife Sandy of Hamilton; Gwynnie Craft with whom Manford resided, as well as several nieces and nephews.

 
 
 

Mr. Manford Leroy Robinson of Carsonville passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on November 1, 2007 at the age of 71.  
 

He was predeceased by three sisters: Freda, Pauline and Elizabeth; two brothers: Billy and Norman;

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm

A Celebration of Manford's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:00 am with Rev. Bob Hussey officiating.   

The interment will take place at Gosline Cemetery.  There will be a time of fellowship with the family at the Smith Creek Hall following the committal service.
