Margaret was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness since 1943. She was a member of the watchtower and she enjoyed going from door to door to tell people about Jehovah and his Kingdom. Margaret also enjoyed telling stories, gardening, writing and sewing on her treadle sewing machine where she made clothing and quilts for her family and friends. In later years, Margaret depended on a cane and "knew how to use it".
