John "Jack" Vincent Henry

Jack Henry was born in Butternut Ridge, Killiam Mills, on November 9, 1922; he was the son of the late Charles and Daisy (Killiam) Henry. Jack was brought up by his grandparents: Robert and Alma Henry of Killiam Mills. He could do anything he turned his hand to; he was a former Employee of Wallace Manufacturing, Sears, Dryden Motors and Black Fashions.

Jack was a devoted husband and father, he was an active member of Norton Wesleyan Church, he loved to sing and had a lovely voice, and he sang at weddings, funerals and was a member of the Church choir.

Jack is survived by Kay, his beloved wife of 66years, his daughter, Jean of Fredericton, two half brothers: Earl and Gerald and by his half sister, Gloria, as well as by several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his son Vincent in 1973, and by two brothers Charles and Robert.

Mr. John "Jack" Vincent Henry of Foster Ave Apohaqui passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on May 9, 2008 at the age of 85.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

A Celebration of Jacks Life will be held from Norton Wesleyan Church on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 11:00 am followed by the interment at Riverbank Cemetery.

There will be a time of fellowship with the family in the Church basement immediately following the Committal Service.
