Gwendoline Margaret Goddard

Mrs. Gwendoline "Gwen" Margaret Goddard of 67 Pleasant Ave. Sussex, formerly of Youngs Cove passed away at her residence on March 1, 2010 at the age of 64.

Gwen was born in Waterboro, NB on March 1, 1946; she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Starkey) Ferris. She was a wife, mother and a retired RNA having devoted her life to serving others. She was former employee of Beaverbank Nursing Home in Beaverbank, NS.

Gwen is survived by Ensley her beloved husband of 45 years, her daughter Monique McPhee and her husband Kirk of Sussex, four sons: Steve Goddard of Vancouver, BC; Tony Goddard and his wife Annette of Borden, ON, Larry Goddard and his wife Patsy of Havelock, Chris Goddard and his wife Rosmary of Fredericton,  two step children: Rick Goddard and his wife Diane of Guelph, ON. and Cindy Jeans and her husband Brian of Shelburne, ON;13 grandchildren: Selena, Olivia, Jade, Brea, Hunter, Crystal, Daniel, Ryan, Tamara, Rick, Derrick, Darren and David;12 great grandchildren: Alexandra, Kylyn, Brooklyn, Destiny, Derek Jr., Samantha, Riley, Olivia, Roshawn, Tyson, Rylan.  five sisters: Glenna McIntyre Wiarton, ON, Marilyn Foster (Maurice) Owen Sound, ON, Ella MacNiel Guelph, ON, Rita Brown of Edmonton AB, and Mary Breedon Drayton, ON.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8pm.

A Celebration of Gwen’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Friday, March 5th, 2010 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tim MacDonald officiating.

The interment will take place at Mill Cove Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy donations made to the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
