Mary Honora Copp
1923-2005
Mrs. Mary Honora Copp of Burlington, Ontario and formerly of Sussex,
NB, passed away on February 17, 2005 at the age of 81. Mary was born
in Halifax N.S. on July 18, 1923, the daughter of the late Charles J.
and Josephine (Dempsey) O'Connor and the beloved wife of the late
Edwin C. Copp who passed away in 1988.
Mary is survived by her son, Carl and his wife Irene of Oakville, Ontario, 2 brothers, James O'Connor and his wife Mary of Nerigonish, NS, Frank O'Connor of Calgary, Alberta, 4 sisters, Gertrude McLean, Kathleen Craft, Cecilia Cochrane, Audrey Findley all of Dartmouth, NS, 4 grandchildren; Jason and his wife Therese, Shane, Trevor and Trent, 2 great grandchildren; Ethan, Zoë, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mary was a former member of Trinity Anglican Church, the Sussex Golf and Curling Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch # 20 Ladies Auxiliary.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Saturday from 7-9 and Sunday 2-4, 7-9pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 20, Ladies Auxiliary will hold a tribute Sunday evening at 6:45. The Funeral Service will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 11:00 am followed by an interment in Evergreen Memorial Park at 1:00 pm.
