Lewis “Lew” Earl Folkins
1944-2005
Mr. Lewis “Lew” Earl Folkins of Truro, NS, passed away at
his residence on August 12, 2005 at the age of 60. Born in Pleasant
Ridge, NB on October 22, 1944, he was the son of the late J. Arthur
and Gertrude (Arnold) Folkins.
Lewis is survived by his beloved wife Doris (Lynch), 2 daughters; Susan Folkins of Sussex, Sally Folkins-Molnar and her husband Jason of Elmsdale, NS, his son Scott Folkins of Truro, NS, 6 grandchildren; Meghan, Morgan, Mikahla, MacKenzie, Larissa, Shelby, 2 sisters; Nancy Hornbrook and her husband Ronald of Mt. Middleton, Sarah Darling and her husband Arnold of Roachville, 4 brothers; Grant and his wife Joyce of Saint John, Lorne and his wife Alice of Sussex, Bill and his wife Mildred of Pleasant Ridge, Steven and his wife Doreen of Nauwigewauk, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Lew was predeceased by his sister, Laura and by his brother John.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Lew's request there will be no visitation. The Funeral Service will be held from Wesley United Church, Berwick on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 2:00 pm with the interment at Berwick Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy donations made to Cystic Fibrosis or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
