Jacquelyn Elaine Semark
1949-2005
It is with profound sorrow and the utmost joy that we announce the
journey of our wife, mother, “Nana” and friend to be with
her saviour in heaven.
Jacquelyn Elaine Semark, 56, of Sussex Corner, N.B. was born in Maryland, U.S.A. on May 24, 1949 to the late Frederick and Viola (Walls) Wegand.
Her memory will be cherished by her beloved husband, Bernard, her three children; Michelle Espinoza and her husband, Mark, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Tommy DiFilippo and his wife, Jennifer, of Tampa, FL and Denise Vail and her husband, Les, of Sussex, N.B., three step-children, Lisa Semark of Belleville, Ont., Jamie Semark of Toronto, Ont. and Jeremy Putman of Belleville, Ont., seven brothers and sisters, twelve adoring grand-children who were the apple of her eye; Jason Archer, Joshua Klamer, Sierra Espinoza, Michael Vail, Madison Vail, Amanda DiFilippo, Thomas DiFilippo Jr., Sara DiFilippo, Megan DiFilippo, Rachelle DiFilippo, D'Alice Semark and Jordan Reid, and a multitude of wonderful relatives and friends.
In Mom, God created a grand and larger-than-life person who was a loving and caring wife and an attentive and protective mother. She gave of herself unconditionally ensuring that everyone around her was cared for before she did anything for herself. Above all else, however, God's plan, His purpose, for her was to be “Nana”. While most of us go through life asking the question “Why am I here?”, a look back on Mom's life reveals that she had no question as to why she was put on earth?.She was here to be a grandmother-Our Nana.
We love you and miss you Mom. We look forward to the day when we will all be together again. Rest well...You've earned it.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). At Jacquelyn's request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 29, 2005 at 6:00 pm with Pastor Kevin Vincent officiating. Followed by a time of fellowship with the family.
As an expression of sympathy donations made to the Apohaqui Community Church Mission Fund or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
