Winifred Perry

MRS. WINIFRED “EVELYN” PERRY, of Coles Island, NB passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on October 12, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer, born in Saint John, NB on January 24, 1935, she was the daughter of the late J. Gordon and Margaret Alberta (Allaby) Corey.

Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband Harold Perry, her children H. Edward (Ed) and his wife Helen of Apohaqui, Maggie Dupuis and her husband Bert of Coles Island, Lloyd and his wife Brenda of Penobsquis, Winifred Wuhr and her husband Fred of Chipman, Andrew and his wife Joan of Orangeville, Ont., 3 sisters, Romayne Dickinson of Saint John, Elise Hawker and her husband Hazen of Coles Island, Owena Corey of Sussex and her fiance James Urquhart of Bloomfield, 2 brothers, Percy Corey and his wife Norma of Gatineau, Quebec, Walter Corey and his wife Lola of Havelock, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was predeceased by her grandson Trevor who passed away in 1997.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday 7-9, Sunday 2-4, 7-9 at Wallace Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held from the New Canaan United Baptist Church on Monday, October 15, 2001 at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Jack and Pastor Eagles officiating. Interment at New Canaan Cemetery.

Donations made to Bobbie Munroe Palliative Care Unit of the Sussex Health Centre, New Canaan United Baptist Church, Canadian Cancer Society or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
