He is survived by his wife Muriel Dorothy (Yensen) Smith; 2 daughters, Ada and Mae; 2 sons, Charles and George; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Dr. Sussex, NB. Funeral service is from Wallace Memorial Chapel on January 11, 2002 with Pastor Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will take place in Pioneer Cemetery.
