Eva A.  Wright
Eva A. Wright of Primrose Cottage, Lower Millstream, passed away at her residence, on September 2, 2006 at the age of 93. Born in Head of Millstream, on May 9, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Miller) Parlee and the beloved wife of the late Murray Whitfield Wright who passed away in 1986.

Eva is survived by two daughters: Muriel Mason of Sussex and Marcella Fauteux and her husband Bud of Ontario; her son, Archie and his wife Ellen of Ontario; two brothers: Hiram and his wife Anne and Lloyd and his wife Catherine both of Norton; 16 grandchildren: Gary, Geraldine, Carol Anne, Dianah, Donna, Paul, Andrea, Dennis, Laurie, Cathy, Shelly, Michael, Mark, Denise, Bradley, Jean-Paul; 31 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

Eva is predeceased by her son, Andrew, two sisters: Millie Anderson and Leota Wright; two brothers: Ernest Parlee and Fred Parlee; her granddaughter, Debbie; her daughter-in-law, Phyllis and her son-in-law, Gerry Mason.

Eva was a member of the Saint Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, The Apohaqui Women's Institute and the Apohaqui Seniors Keeping Young Group.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, Sussex, from where visitation was held.

The musical selections “Here I am Lord”, “The Lord Is My Shepherd”, On Eagle’s Wings”, “Songs of the Angels” and Be Not Afaird” were sung by Al Smith. “How Great Thou Art” was sung by her grandson Bradley Fauteux accompanied by Al Smith.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on September 7, 2006 with Fr. Arnie Hachey officiating. The Scripture readings were offered by her daughters Muriel Mason and Marcella Fauteux, the Eulogy was offered by her grandchildren Geraldine and Bradley.

Interment was in St. Phillips Roman Catholic Cemetery, Millstream.

The Pallbearers were: Gary Mason, Bradley Fauteux, Michael Wright, Chris Parlee, Myles Wright and Pat Madden.

The Honorary Pallbearer was Dennis Wright.
