Arthur Andrew Boyd
Arthur Andrew Boyd, of Sunbridge Nursing Home, Portsmouth, New
Hampshire, passed away at his residence on December 22, 2002. Born in
Goshen, NB on February 2, 1899, he was the son of the late James Boyd
and Mary (Fawcett) Boyd.
Arthur was predeceased in May 2002, by his wife of 78 years, Myrtle (Darling) Boyd. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Arthur was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by 3 sisters, Ethel, Emma and Julia and by 5 brothers, Albert, Howard, Wilmot, Wellington and Clarence.
He was a devoted husband, brother and uncle. He was a kind and generous friend and neighbour. His long, rich life made him a mentor to all his family. He will be missed by so many.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Saturday January 4, 2003 from 12:00 noon until the time of service. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 4, 2003 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Mary Wannamaker officiating. Interment at Wesley Cemetery, Berwick.
