Daniel Benjamin Northrup

Daniel Benjamin Northrup, of 15 Pleasant Avenue, Sussex, New Brunswick, passed away at Sussex Health Centre on February 9, 2003.

Born in Berwick New Brunswick on September 22, 1913, he was the son of the late Charles and Irene (Northrup) Northrup and the beloved husband of the late Doris (Friars) Northrup who passed away in 1982.

Daniel is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Mary Neilson and her husband Gordon of Riverview, a son, J. Paul Northrup and his wife Wanda of Sussex, 6 granchildren, Danny and Darren O'Brien, Lori Sparkes and Heather Webster, Danny and Donnie Northrup, 2 great grandchildren, Katie and Jessie Sparkes, several nieces and nephews.
Daniel was predeceased by a daughter, Marlene Alice O'Brien, a brother Garth Northrup and 3 sisters, Hazel DeForest, Alice Simms and Beth O'Donnell.

Daniel was a carpenter/contractor for 50 years. He was an avid outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), at Daniel's request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
