Kathleen Howe

Miss Kathleen 'Mabel' Howe of Loch Lomond Villa, Saint John, NB, passed away at her residence on July 27, 2003 at the age of 87. Born in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland on January 21, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (Follis) Howe.

Mabel is survived by 3 brothers, Reg and his wife Edna of Roachville, Ivan and his wife Beryl of Lower Millstream, John Stuart and his wife Joanne of Quispamsis, 4 sisters: Violet Wright of Halifax, Anna McAleese of Lower Millstream, Rachel Herrmann and her husband Paul of Vancouver, Lena Young of Saskatchewan, 3 sisters-in-law, Hilda Howe of Sussex, Jessie Howe of Halifax and Shirley Howe of Sussex, several nieces and nephews.

Mabel was predeceased by 3 brothers William, Thomas, Alexander (Sandy) and by her sister Sara.

Mabel was a retired Nurse and served as a lieutenant during WWII.

She was a member of the Church of the Ascension,

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where the family will be receiving relatives and friends on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held from the Church of the Ascension on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Church of the Ascension Church Cemetery.
