The holiday season can be a particularly difficult time for those who have recently experienced a loss.

Wallace Funeral Home offers two programs to offer comfort and healing through the holidays.

Steve Baldwin is the local founder of the

"Living Memorial Program".

Donations are given directly to the family.

Our "Living Memorial Tree Campaign": Each light on our "Living Memorial Tree" represents the life of a person who has passed away in the past year. Families are encouraged to purchase a light in memory of a life they wish to remember during the holiday season.

Early in December, "Towards the Light" offers a special seminar entitled "Do you think you are going crazy?" or "A ray of hope."

Our Towards the Light seminar is especially designed for those individuals who are about to experience their first holiday season without their loved one. We talk about making decisions on how, what, when and where you might want to spend your holiday. The video a Ray of Hope is shown and each participant is given the booklet Tinsel and Tears.
