Doug, Susan and family We were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing Doug. She and your dad were always so proud of you, I remember that so clearly. I also remember the delicious nanimo bars that you would bring in your school lunch. When I make them each year at Christmas, I always think of you and your mother!

Dear Doug, Sue and family, I just read of the passing of your Mother and send our sincere sympathy. She was a lovely lady; gentle and kind. We always enjoyed visiting with Walter and Rilla. They made us feel very welcome when we first moved to Sussex in 1987 and we will long remember them both.

I was so saddened to read of your mom's passing, Doug and Sue. I smile every time I think of my Sunday School teacher, Mrs. Doney. She made a wonderful impression on me as a child. I remember the ginger icebox cookies that she often made. She even shared her recipe so I think of her often as I carry on her tradition. Your loss is great but her gain is greater. May God comfort you in your time of sorrow.
