Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Wilson of
Born in
For many years, Dorothy worked as a housekeeper for different families in the area. She became friends with Anne Moffett when she worked at her house and they have remained very close for all these years.
Several years ago, while Christmas shopping in
Dorothy enjoyed watching her soaps and doing crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed working the polls at election time, which was probably more about seeing all the people than about the politics. The highlight of her week was going to the grocery store on Saturdays. All week, she looked forward to Rachel picking her up and taking her out for their weekly trip.
Dorothy was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She spent her life taking care of those she loved and she looked forward to the family getting together at Christmas and other special occasions. Family was everything to her and she was everything to her family.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Kevin and his wife Yolande of Moncton and Stephen at home; daughters, Ann McShane and her husband David of Saint John, Sharon Spicer of Sussex, Heather Mercer and her husband Nelson of Norton and Karen Gallant and her husband Donald of Moncton; her brother Harold Goddard of the Kiwanis Nursing Home; grandchildren Wade (Julie), Tina, Tyler, Andrea, Rachel (Ronnie), Kelly, Cindy, Penny (Wade), John, Dawn, Christopher and Natasha (Derek); great grandchildren, Joshua, Sierra, Jesse and Kenadi as well as several nieces and nephews.
